No frills.
Only the real.
Pas de flafla.
Juste le vrai.

I’m Yanick. I document the wedding days of couples who marry for themselves and nobody else. Whoever you are. Whoever you love. We head out where the land is bigger than us and the weather writes half the story. Burning sun or northern cold or rain that finds every seam. I will be there for all of it. Quiet when it matters. Close when it counts.

This is what real looks like when nobody is posing. Wind in the hair. Grass on the hem. Laughter nobody asked for.

(02) The manifesto(02) Le manifeste

Everywhere is beautiful. But some places ask more of you. The wild ones. The ones where the weather does exactly what it wants. Heat that slows the whole day down. Cold that pushes you into each other’s arms. Rain straight off the ocean and wind that takes the veil wherever it wants.

Out there you find out what the two of you are made of. And all you need is the person who loves you. Close. For a long time. Trading the strongest vows there are.

(03) The offer(03) L’offre

You get me.
Nothing less.
Nobody else.
C’est moi
que vous avez.
Personne d’autre.

I document your day the way it happens. The shaking hands and the tears nobody planned. Nothing staged. Nothing done twice.

Film

Your vows in your own voices. The wind and the laughter and the silence right before the yes. A film you can hear as much as watch. One day you will press play and be right back there.

Photo + Film

Both from the same pair of eyes. The still moments and the moving ones documented as one story. Your story told whole. Nothing lost in between.

I am not only there to document. I am your guide out there.

I have walked these places in every season and I know how they behave. You just have to show up and love each other.

  1. The routes. Traced so the day breathes and nothing ever feels rushed.
  2. The light. I know when each place turns gold and when it turns wild.
  3. The locations. The famous ones and the ones I keep to myself.
  4. The hidden corners. Parts of the country you would never have found on your own.
  5. The beds. Worth falling into after a day of wind and vows.
  6. The stops. Along the way, so the trip is as big as the wedding.
  7. The road. Driven slowly, so the day is never spent on logistics.
  8. The timing. Your vows at the hour when the light turns kind.
  9. The surprises. There is always at least one.
  10. Anywhere. Wherever you want to go. We will go.
  10. Partout. Là où vous voulez aller. On ira.

No two loves burn the same way. Yours has never been told. Tell me your story first. Then we talk for real. Racontez-moi votre histoire d’abord. Ensuite, on se parle pour vrai.

A photo holds the moment still. A film gives you the voices back. Start with Iceland. The wind in that one says everything.Une photo garde l’instant immobile. Un film vous redonne les voix. Commencez par l’Islande. Le vent, dans celui-là, dit tout.

Papa Bear.

Dad of two kids, in love with love, hunter of moments that may never come back.

I don’t stage anything. I walk with you, I laugh with you, I get my boots dirty with you. And I document what actually happens. Everything I give you, life taught me first. I document your day the way I once wished someone had documented mine, on the day that counts.

300 weddings since 2015, and the vows still get to me. Every single time. That’s not a pitch. That’s just how I’m built.300 mariages depuis 2015, et les vœux me touchent encore. Chaque fois.
